Who we are

Firstdove Nigeria Enterprises
a pioneering pig farming company

Established in 2018, the company is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria and has rapidly grown to become a significant player in the pig farming industry. Our journey began with just three female pigs, and we have since evolved into a thriving enterprise, focusing on breeding, raising, and processing quality pork products for the local market.

Founding and Early Growth: Firstdove Nigeria Enterprises was founded in 2018 with a humble start. At the time of establishment, we began with three female pigs that had not given birth previously. In May to June of the same year, we made a pivotal move by acquiring ten young pigs, consisting of five females and five males, aged between 2 to 3 months. This strategic addition marked a significant milestone in our journey towards expansion and excellence.

First Farrow: Within a few months of acquiring the ten young pigs, Firstdove Nigeria Enterprises achieved its first successful farrow. Our female pigs gave birth, setting the stage for a promising future. As part of our growth strategy, we made the decision to sell the male pigs from the original ten, enabling us to focus on nurturing and developing the female breeding stock.

Mission: To raise good and healthy live stocks that can produce quality and lean source of animal protein which must be within the purchasing power of consumers around the local community, Nigeria and beyond. To cultivate and grow grains that can be used to feed both human and animal population in conjunction with other farmers

Value: At First Dove Farms we appreciate, respect and value local farmers knowledge and innovations so as to ensure unbroken agro products supply chain, sustainability of human and animal life and adequate provision of food.
